How It All Began

In the summer of 2019, three friends found themselves frustrated by the same problem: every "healthy" drink on the market was either loaded with artificial sweeteners or tasted like cardboard.

Elena, a nutritionist; Marcus, a former chef; and Jordan, an environmental scientist, decided to create something different. Armed with a small fermenting kit and ingredients from the local farmers' market, they spent six months perfecting what would become our first flavor: Mango Passion.

The rule was simple: if we couldn't pronounce an ingredient, it wasn't going in the bottle. Five years later, that rule still guides everything we do.

Our Journey

From kitchen experiments to a nationwide movement

2019

The First Batch

Created our first recipe in Elena's apartment kitchen. Friends couldn't get enough, and we knew we were onto something special.

2020

First Retail Partner

Partnered with local organic grocery stores. Sold out in the first week and scrambled to keep up with demand.

2021

Production Facility

Opened our solar-powered production facility in Austin, TX. Achieved B Corp certification and carbon-neutral operations.

2022

National Recognition

Featured in Forbes "30 Under 30" and named "Best New Beverage" at the Natural Products Expo West.

2023

Nationwide Launch

Expanded to all 50 states. Launched our subscription program and reached 1 million bottles sold.

2024

Sustainability Milestone

Planted our 100,000th tree through our One Bottle, One Tree initiative. Launched fully compostable packaging.

You can find Solana at over 3,000 retail locations nationwide, including Whole Foods, Sprouts, and most natural grocery stores. You can also order directly from our website and have it shipped to your door.

Yes! We offer free tours of our Austin facility every Saturday at 10am and 2pm. Tours last about 45 minutes and include tastings of our full lineup. Book your spot on our website - spaces fill up quickly!

We personally visit every farm we partner with. We look for organic certification, sustainable farming practices, fair labor conditions, and of course - exceptional produce quality. Many of our partnerships have become friendships over the years.

For every bottle of Solana sold, we plant a tree through our partnership with One Tree Planted. So far, we've planted over 100,000 trees across North America. The trees help offset carbon emissions and restore natural habitats.
